Rowner Lane

Rowner Lane is the main access road for the Rowner estate, running from the Brockhurst area westward towards Lee-on-the-Solent. The road passes through the regenerated Alver Village development and connects the estate to the wider road network. Rowner Lane gives access to the Holbrook Recreation Centre and to paths leading into Alver Valley Country Park. The road has been improved as part of the regeneration programme, with new junctions and landscaping. Traffic can be busy at school run times, as several schools are accessed from this route. The road marks the transition between the denser urban housing of central Gosport and the more suburban character of the western peninsula.
